Blackout Ready is operated by Step Into Media Inc, 15 W 38th St, New York, NY 10018. This policy explains what we collect, why, who gets it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Information you give us.

• Your email address, if you subscribe, download something, or contact us.
• Your name, if you provide it.
• Anything you write to us in an email or a form.

Information about your purchase. Purchases are handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of the order and the email address attached to it. We never receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. When you visit, we and our providers collect: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, time on page, and the links you click. Advertising and analytics services also assign identifiers to your browser or device.

Cookies and tracking

Right now this site runs no advertising or analytics tags at all. We use only the cookies needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice.

We intend to add analytics and advertising measurement later. When we do, we will name the platforms on this page and in our Cookie Policy before they are switched on, and non-essential cookies will stay off until you accept them.

If you arrive through an affiliate link, a cookie may record which partner referred you so they are credited if you buy.

How we use it

• To deliver what you bought and provide support.
• To send you email you have asked for, and to tell you about our products. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To measure and improve the site and our content.
• To run and measure advertising, including showing ads to people who have visited the site.
• To keep records the law requires, and to prevent fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who work on our behalf: our website host, ClickFunnels (which hosts our order pages and sends our email), our analytics provider, and the payment platform that processes purchases.
• Affiliate networks, where a partner referred your purchase, so the commission can be paid.
• Anyone the law requires, including in response to a lawful request.

Selling and sharing, and your right to opt out

We do not sell your personal information, and we are not currently sharing it for advertising, because no advertising tags run on this site today.

If that changes, using advertising pixels would count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, and may count as a "sale" under some other state laws. We would say so here plainly before switching anything on.

You can register an opt-out now, and we will honor it from the moment any such tag exists:

• Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our footer.
• Or turn on a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser or extension. We detect it automatically, we act on it, and we will show you a confirmation on screen when we have.

Opting out does not stop you using the site and does not change what you pay.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you, and where it came from
• Give you a copy of it
• Correct it
• Delete it
• Stop selling or sharing it, as described above
• Stop sending you marketing email

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, email info@blackoutreadyplan.com. We reply within 24 hours. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, usually by verifying the email address on the account. You can use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under their own state statutes. Residents of California may also request the specific categories of personal information collected, used, disclosed and shared in the preceding twelve months.

How long we keep it

Correspondence for as long as it is relevant. Purchase records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Email subscriber records until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record afterwards so we do not email you again. Analytics and advertising data according to each provider's retention period.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
